When working with silicone there are a few things you should be beware of!
- When spraying your sculpture or mould with fixier spray or petrolease make sure you do that on an open window and wear a mask , so you won't be inhaling it( if you inhale too much of it it can make you feel dizzy)
- have around 20cm distance when spraying
- when working with silicone always wear gloves and always change into a new pair when you swap between the different silicone's-> otherwise it will get contaminated!!
- don't get in contact with garlic or Aloe Vera before working with silicone, makes it stop working
- keep your kit clean and avoid contamination
- always put lid's on
- wear old clothes and shoes->can't get silicone out of fabric
- avoid wearing jewelery
- use cheap sandwich box to keep your sculptures and moulds safe
